Raveena Shinde

Research Analyst

Having grown up in India, where water has been a luxury for many, has played such an integral part in Raveena’s life that she decided to dive deep into the water world.

As a Research Analyst at BlueTech Research, Raveena is enthusiastic about building her industry expertise by investigating breakthrough water technologies that can move the world closer to being water secure.

Before joining BlueTech, she has worked as a program officer on a river restoration project in India for a social enterprise. In the past, Raveena has been involved in various water projects in different roles, which has helped her establish a comprehensive knowledge base and a solution-oriented approach to wicked water issues.

Raveena holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Kolhapur Institute of Technology in India, after which she went abroad to pursue a Master’s in Water Science and Management from Utrecht University in the Netherlands. Her Master’s thesis focused on developing a bio-engineered process to produce volatile fatty acids from wastewater, a sustainable alternative approach to the petroleum-based production route.

She is currently based in India, and in her spare time, she enjoys playing Badminton, travelling, and going on photo walks.
